A graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and Bowdoin College, Denise has worked at the highest levels of federal government, from the White House to the US Senate, as well as in law firms, for startups, and most recently in politics, as a candidate for Congress.

She is currently the Mayor on the Redding City Council. Her liaison assignments include Police, Planning, Economic Development, Shasta County Arts Council, Shasta Regional Transportation Agency and the California Association of Councils of Governments (CALCOG) Board of Directors.

Elizabeth teaches regularly and facilitates interactive conversations about sexuality and gender here at Moral Revolution and Equipped to Love. She holds a Masters in Theology and is a licensed pastor in Redding, CA where her husband, Doug, and her live.
